By the end of 2025, around 4,500 people in Singapore, including students and adult learners, will receive free training in AI and technology.
This effort is part of a collaboration between IBM, Republic Polytechnic, Singapore Polytechnic, and Junior Achievement.
It’s also linked to IBM’s broader goal of helping 30 million people worldwide gain digital skills by 2030 through its SkillsBuild platform. This platform provides access to over 1,000 technology courses.
The training program is designed to improve job readiness by offering IBM certifications. This aligns with Singapore’s plan to grow its pool of AI talent and meet the needs of the digital economy.
By providing these learning opportunities, the initiative supports the development of essential skills for the future workforce, helping individuals adapt to the fast-changing tech landscape.
